Steel Panther live in Paris

At last! Steel Panther was at last performing in the city of Pigalle, the Crazy Horse and the Moulin Rouge!

Could we expect a hotter sow than the one in Köln a year and a half ago, where a stripper was invited on stage and did more that we could imagine? Wait and see!

Satchel, on shred guitar solos

The support band was The Treatment, a very good rock band who also tured with Alice Cooper last year. But their name was not even written on the ticket, maybe they confirmed their prescence too late, but the fact is that everyone here was gathering for this glam rock sensation called Steel Panther.

The show wasn't sold-out but Michael Starr said that there were 900 tickets sold, which is a lot for a glam rock concert in Paris. And those who didn't come will regret it forever!

Mirror Mirror ... Lexxi Foxxx

As the guys from Steel Panther came on stage with Supersonic Sex Machine, the crowds started to go crazy.

Lights were quite good for the Bataclan, and the sound was a bit rough at the begining but went great from the second song.

It took me some time to get used to the songs of their second album Balls Out. It wasn't like with Death To All But Metal, that I loved from the first time I heard it.
But hearing the news songs live really finished to convience me that Balls Out is a great album!

Satchel guitar solo from the drums - Steel Panther live in France

Muscally, these guys kick ass. They're all good at what they do, it's not because they goy funny lyrics that they're not ood musically. All the contrary, if you wanna be credible with a parody band, you better be good at your instrument.

Satchel demonstrated tonight how a skilled guitar player he his, but also made the aucience scream as he played fast guitar solos from the drumkit, and exerpts of classic rock songs that everyone knew.

Stix Zadinia on drums with Steel Panther live in Paris, France

Stix Zadinia is also great on drums: groovy and precise. He also plays piano when he's on a romantic mood, like for a Weenie Ride for example.

Lexxi Foxxx, seems more worried about his haircut than about his bass, but he's actually the one that kicks out the rhythm parts.

Michael Starr is a very good frontman, teasing the crowds at every chance he's got. He even learnt a couple of sentences in French, just enough to get him into someone's bed.

Asian Hooker - on stage with Steel Panther

The first boobs came during Asian Hooker, when an Asian Girl jumped on stage and danced with the band. She also was on stage at the Crashdïet concert a few months ago. Back then, she didn't show anything but tonight, she had no choice but to show off her boobs!

She was the one to break the ice, and from this moment on, girls in the audiance started to show their boobs on almost every song.

The key moment was when several girls invaded the stage for two songs: Party All Day (Fuck All Night) and Turn Out The Lights.

The Steel Panther Boobs Crew from Paris
Michael Starr and Lexxi Foxx from Steel Panther Steel Panther on stage kick ass, there's absolutely no doubt about it. I even think sometimes that they're better than the people they got the inspiration from.

For example, I love Mötley Crüe, but the two Steel Panther shows I've seen have been better than some of the four Mötley shows I've attented.
A pupil becoming the master? Maybe not in terms of stage production and of course ot in terms of classic songs. But regarding the performance, I think they're probably already there.
Steel Panther live in Paris Bataclan

We all went home with a big smile in our face! I don't think there was a single person that didn't enjoy this show.
Steel Panther are certainly set to become bigger, and I 'm really heppy to have seen their first show in Paris, as II'm happy to have seen them at a very small venue in Köln.
Next one Steel Panther show will be at the Hellfest Open Air, and a can barely imagine what they could do at a Festival show...
